A Day Packed with Inspiration

Recently we held our second Rural Women’s Day Eyre Peninsula event. Another truly amazing day, Workshop26 was buzzing with chatter, excitement, laughter and learning. Women came from all around the Eyre Peninsula to connect and enjoy a fabulous day.

Our guest speakers, Em Herbert Journalist, Podcaster & Story teller and Jackie Elliot founder of Rural Women’s Day shared their incredible stories with our enthusiastic audience.

The day's program was packed with wonderful activities; future proofing your finances, notes of a fashion editor and amazing garden tours. All topped off with a remarkable long table lunch, complete with a complimentary glass of wine. Followed by a grazing table and cocktails, all in our old tractor shop.

Three Generations

Now, let's talk about the delicious part, the food. Again, I had the pleasure of catering for the fabulous rural women’s day event, and let me tell you, we had quite the spread prepared for our lovely guests.

But here's what made it even more special. It wasn't just me in that kitchen. My incredible mum, Leeanne, and my two daughters were right there by my side, helping me cater. You see, cooking runs in the family, its our happy place, its just what we do. Three generations of our family came together to create something truly memorable.

Rural cooking we see as a reflection of love. Every dish has a story from different generations, and a piece of our hearts goes into each and every dish.

A Heartfelt Thanks

As a proud member of the Workshop26 team, being a part of this celebration was an absolute delight. And as a daughter and a mother, it was an immense privilege to share this culinary adventure with my mother and my daughters.

I want to take a moment to express our appreciation to everyone who attended Rural Women's Day Eyre Peninsula. Your warmth and enthusiasm filled Workshop26 with an energy that we won't soon forget any time soon.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your day, and here's to making many more memories in the future.

With heartfelt thanks, Ellen.
